Will GTA VI support your language?

What we checked ourselves
The official GTA VI site is localised into thirteen languages. We took the
list from the page’s own hreflang markup:
en-US, de-DE, es-ES, es-MX, fr-FR, it-IT, ja-JP, ko-KR, pl-PL,
pt-BR, ru-RU, zh-CN, zh-TW
Character descriptions and region names are translated there too — Vice City becomes «Вайс-Сити» in Russian, and so on.
What we could not verify
A localised website is not the same as in-game language support. We found no list of supported languages either on Rockstar’s page or on the game’s PlayStation page.
Secondary sources report that the game will have interface and subtitles in those same thirteen languages, with English-only audio. That looks plausible — the lists match, and it is how GTA V worked — but we do not treat it as official confirmation and do not present it as fact.
How to know for certain
Open the game’s page in your platform’s store: the supported-languages block lists audio and subtitles separately. Stores usually fill it in closer to release.
Why this site is in eighteen languages, not thirteen
We took all thirteen official game languages and added five of our own: Ukrainian, Serbian, Croatian, Czech and Turkish. The game does not support them — which is exactly why they are here: reference sites in those languages barely exist.
One consequence for terminology: on those five we must show the English original next to the translation. If a player’s game is in English and our name is translated, they cannot match one to the other — so the original sits alongside.
