Official GTA VI screenshots: how many there are and what they show

How many, and where
The media section of the official site holds 70 screenshots — plus separate sets for the Ultimate Edition (51) and the Vintage Vice City Pack (12), but those show edition contents rather than the world.
The section says so outright: the material is offered for download and sharing. That is why the shots can be viewed here — sorted onto character and region pages instead of dumped into one gallery.
How the set is built
File names split the shots into two groups, which is more useful than any gallery:
- eight characters — 4 to 6 shots each;
- six places — 4 to 9 shots each.
The official set mirrors exactly what Rockstar has described in words: the same eight leads and the same six parts of the state. There is no seventh region or ninth character hiding in it — which is itself a fact.
Characters
| Who | Shots |
|---|---|
| Jason Duval | 6 |
| Lucia Caminos | 6 |
| Boobie Ike | 4 |
| Brian Heder | 4 |
| Cal Hampton | 4 |
| Dre’Quan Priest | 4 |
| Raul Bautista | 4 |
| Real Dimez | 4 |
The two playable leads get the most — six each. Everyone else gets exactly four, which is another way of seeing who the publisher treats as central.
Places
| Where | Shots | What is in them |
|---|---|---|
| Vice City | 9 | the “VICE CITY” letters under a flight path, a neon club, streets |
| Mount Kalaga | 6 | a gorge with red cliffs, dirt bikes in a quarry |
| Leonida Keys | 5 | islands, a causeway, a floatplane, “The Rusty Anchor” bar |
| Port Gellhorn | 5 | the “Starlet” motel, a hand-off through a car window, a field bonfire |
| Ambrosia | 5 | a column of bikers, fields, pylons and factory stacks |
| Grassrivers | 4 | airboats, lily pads, alligators |
Vice City is covered almost twice as heavily as anywhere else — nine shots against four to six. For the city the story opens in, that tracks.
What the shots add to the official words
For three regions — Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and Ambrosia — Rockstar has said nothing in words beyond the names. But it has shown them: swamps with airboats, a run-down coastal town, farm country with a biker club. We keep that in a separate “what the official screenshots show” block, so shown is never confused with stated.
One detail from a frame beats a paragraph of guesswork: a road sign in Ambrosia reads “Ambrosia County Sheriff’s Office”, so Ambrosia is a county, not a town.
What the set does not contain
No map, no interface, no progression screen, no named vehicles (outside the editions), no weapons, no radio stations. Anything you have seen billed as “leaked UI” is not part of the official set — and will not be here.
Next: what is known about the game, regions of Leonida, characters, the August 27 showcase.
